Raven's current game development project Wolfenstein? is quite important for the majority of Return to Castle Wolfenstein and Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory fans or lets say Crossfire readers in general. What Raven have already came up with were some screenshots, a first trailer some interviews and a few game magazine articles. The content was not impressive as well as the graphics shown but nevertheless it was a first sign of active development of a game we all hope to suit our needs. However what they have shown and talked so far was all part of the singleplayer. It's a game feature or lets say a part every gamer likes; but for us Crossfire readers and active online gamers there is another more important thing that makes a game enjoyable. It is of course the multiplayer mode for online play.

Playoffs have just started. OMFG first 2 teams going to the quarters are Japan and Chile 0.o.
Playing today are; Est vs Ukr | Swe vs Fin | Lat vs Lux | USA vs Pol
Tommorow is Bel vs Swi . UK vs Cze date not announced yet.

Wolfenstein ET : There's life in the old yet

While some groups are trying to go out and out to destroy everything good about ET there are some other still keeping it fresh and ensuring that our favourite game has a life. Recent follies include a modern weapon mod (M16s and AK47s) and chameleon-style camouflage for Covies. Meanwhile there is a new bots set with improved AI Details Here.
Most important possibly is that fact that Bani is thinking hard about the anti cheat system from ETace called anti3. If it proves reliable and does not impact on the gameplay in ETPro it could mean that ET is a viable competition game for many years to come. Details Here

ClanWars : Crossfire ET Nationscup

The Nationscup is underway again and is now half way through the group stage.
Last week teams played Supply & Radar, this week they are playing Bremen_b2 & sw_goldrush_te. Next week sees the introdution of Radar and the new sp_delivery_te map.

ClanWars : [HESS] eSports vs R3spect|Clan

Shout out to the HESS CB team for a great win yesterday in the CB 6v6 ET ladder game against Respect clan. Straight wins for a 4:0 score on maps Supply depot and Radar. Well done to the team: zeKxa (Phoenix), Appel, Mido, daisy, tr!, V!ke. As usual strong defence was their key to victory.

ClanWars : [HESS] has entered EFT//'s Clanbang III

Here we go for Clanbang III.

The format of this comp will be alot different to what we are used to on ET Pro, but right down our street as a pubbing clan :). Teams will be 12vs12 played on ET Pro with the "classic 6" maps (with ET Pro map scripts). The competition other than the team sizes will follow similar rules to that of clanbase, maps being stopwatch etc.

EFT//'s Summer Clash last year was alot of fun, we didn't do so great, after problems with dates and teams, but this year we hope to do alot better.

Dates and times have yet to be finalised, as has our team, but GL&HF to all the teams that have entered.

Finally a comp that comprises Pub style play with Pro style mods.

[HESS]clan : HESS QW server on the up

Number 3 today!

I know that the SL ranking is highly spontanious, but seeing HESS at number 1 again would be...warmly nostalgic.

On Gametraker we are now ahead of Old Men and OCB (2 historically strong servers) and we have the mighty 'Oh my Strogg' server within reach (number 10). Grametracker rankings show us a healthy 15th, but for 2 reasons we shouldnt worry about GT;
1. The number 1 server is an illegal 32 slot ranked (they dont exist).
2. It is biased towards US servers compared to SL.
